Weapons is one of those movies where your brain goes, “Oh, I know exactly where this is heading,” and then you’re right but somehow still having a great time. Yes, I predicted half of this plot before the popcorn even kicked in, but the movie commits so hard that I kind of respected it. Predictable doesn’t always mean bad, sometimes it just means competent, and honestly that’s refreshing.
