I really don’t know where to begin.

This has to be one of the worst films ever. It only gained the two points due to the fact I didn’t spot many continuity errors and the sets were quite impressive.

The script is truly awful which is probably what lead to the acting being non-existent.

There is a scene towards the beginning where one of the characters shows us his torch. From the very second you see it you know you’re going to see it again. It pretty much screams at you.

So here’s a basic outline of the story. I’ve got to put this in as I’m really not sure how much I can write about this rubbish without getting annoyed.

There’s a diving team exploring a big cave. They get cut off from the exits and have to find a new one. Will they, won’t they? WIll they all survive?

Within ten minutes of watching this crap you actually don’t care who lives or dies and if they get out or not. Within twenty minutes you’ve worked out who lives, who dies and the ending. Within thirty minutes you’re wondering why you’re still watching.

Actually, while writing this I’ve just decided to take one star off. So I gave it two, one for continuity and one for scenery, but fuck it! What few errors there are shouldn’t be there and the scenery cannot possible make up for the lack of direction, script, acting and everything else that goes in to making a good film.

I’m ashamed at Richard Roxburgh as I’ve always thought of him as a quality actor. I’m hoping he was just having an off day! Rhys Wakefield? His stint in Home & Away taught him actoring good! I’ve seen more feeling and ability in vomit outside a nightclub at 4am! As for Ioan Gruffudd! Jeez, why does this man continue to be given parts which require him to have an american accent? He can’t do it! He sounds like I did when I was fifteen and starring in a school production of To Kill A Mockingbird. In fact, next time Gruffudd does an american accent I want him blacked up and shouting “Mad dogs a’ comin!”

Don’t waste 108 minutes of your life on this pile of Cameron produced crap.
